Microsoft Traineeship Program - Cert IV IT

Now taking in expressions of interest for various Host Employers in Canberra!

In this 2-year Traineeship, The Microsoft Traineeship Program offers you an opportunity to gain paid work experience in the IT field, all while gaining a nationally recognised qualification certificate IV Information Technology (Networking) and eight Microsoft Certifications.

When you become a part of the Microsoft Traineeship Program, 91̽»¨ becomes your legal employer. We will be responsible for paying your wages and overseeing your training. During the program, you will be placed with a Host Employer from the Microsoft Australia partner network.

We are looking for the candidates with a true passion for IT. If you've ever built your own computer, learnt coding, managed your home networks/servers, tinkered with smart home devices, or experimented with new software, then you are an ideal match for us!

  • Are you passionate about technology?
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to commit to a 2-year traineeship
  • A valid Australian driver's license and own reliable car (preferable)
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children's Check & National Police Clearance
  • An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assisting users via phone, email, or in person, resolving technical problems.
  • Installing and configuring computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Assisting with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Managing user accounts and providing training on system usage.
  • Performing routine system maintenance and backups.
  • Assisting with IT equipment and software procurement.
