Carpentry Apprentice Opportunity

Apprenticeships QueenslandÌýis looking for a beginner Carpentry Apprentice to join the team of one of our valued host employers. This role offers the chance to gain knowledge and experience from industry professionals..

Year 12 students are encouraged to apply.

Role Description:

• Perform tasks related to building, construction, and joinery trades under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson/instructor, in line with your apprenticeship year level

Responsibilities:

• Use carpentry tools and equipment
• Conduct general demolition of minor building structures
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings for carpentry work
• Apply Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour for extended periods
• Genuine interest in the carpentry trade
• Be a safe confident worker
• Willingness to travel
• White CardÌý(or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
• Must have car & licence
• Minimum of year 10 schooling
