Apprentice Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a dedicated and motivatedÌýapprentice to join our team at Primal Paint Group. As a crucial member of our team, you will need to have a valid licence, your own vehicle, and a white card. The ability to learn new skills, work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

As an apprentice, you will be involved in all aspects of painting, from preparation to finishing. This is a physically demanding role, and you should be prepared to get your hands dirty and work hard to achieve the high standards that our clients expect. Our team operates at a fast pace, completing projects from Northside Brisbane up to the Sunshine Coast.

This position is suited to a recent school leaver and they are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties will involve: Ìý

  • Carry out measurements and calculations.Ìý
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.Ìý
  • Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.Ìý
  • Handle painting and decorating materials.Ìý
  • Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.Ìý
  • Remove and replace doors and door and window components.Ìý
  • Prepare surfaces for painting.Ìý
  • Apply paint by brush and roller.Ìý
  • Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.Ìý
