A position available for a 2nd to 4th Year Engineering Apprentice (Fitter/Welder)听in the Lilydale area.听
The applicant we are looking for must be a 鈥渟elf-starter鈥 and be able to perform routine tasks with minimal assistance.听
The applicant must have:
- A current driver鈥檚 licence听
- Welding certificate No. 7 (preferred)
- A forklift licence would be of benefit
Work duties include (but not limited to):
Fabricating & welding of stainless steel tube to an acceptable level of food grade standards and various 鈥渙ne off鈥 types of fabrications with limited drawings.
The company installs equipment and pipework into food processing plants, so a strong understanding of hygienic work practices are a must. Work duties vary between workshop and sites within the metropolitan area.听
